What is a Managed Network Service?

The term «Managed Service» refers to the setting up and administration of IT infrastructure and software by a service provider (Managed Service Provider). A Managed Network Service is a subset of this service dealing with setting up and administering of company networks.

LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) designates a group of different network protocols that are optimized for the energy-efficient transmission of data over long distances.

Carrier Line Service (CLS)

The Carrier Line Service (CLS) is our managed Layer 1 data service for dedicated, high-quality point-to-point data transmissions that supports scalable high-performance bandwidths of up to 100 Gbit/s.

CLS is available on Basic and Premium Service Level Agreements (SLA). With Premium, two different SLA options are available, offering different troubleshooting periods and annual end-to-end service availability. The service can be configured to be fully redundant.

Carrier Ethernet Services (CES)

The Carrier Ethernet Service (CES) is our managed Layer 2 data service for cost-effective and flexible Ethernet connections with scalable bandwidths. We offer bandwidths of up to 10 Gbit/s with first-class service quality and coverage throughout Switzerland (depending on bandwidth).

Direct Internet Access (DIA)

Direct Internet Access (DIA) is a managed Layer 3 Internet service for flexible Internet connections. It includes different connection configurations as well as a centrally administrable on-site terminal device.
